RESERVATION CONDITIONS 

 

The full contracting conditions are those accepted in the Booking Conditions document, and within these the following specific accommodation conditions are contemplated (provided they do not contravene the main ones): 

  

-Entries must be before 8 pm. 

-In exceptional cases, you must notify reception by phone.  

-In reservations of more than one day, in case of no-show or notification on the first day, the accommodation will be free and for sale. 

 

 

 
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT  

 

 

Cabins in the tree, igloos of the stars and Rural Rooms: 

 

Check-in: From 3pm. 

Check-out: 11:00 a.m. You can contract late check out at reception for €20. 

 
The hydromassage bathtubs will not be put into operation from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Food and drinks are not allowed to enter. 

Pets are not allowed. 

 

 

 

 Wood houses:

 

Check-in: July and August from 5:00 p.m. The rest of the year from 3:00 p.m. 

Check-out: high season: 10:30 a.m. Departure the rest of the year: ask at reception. 

 
They must be left in order, with the kitchen utensils clean and placed  
and in their corresponding houses.  

Pets are allowed (Consult specific pet regulations). 

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

 

We offer you the advantages of individual rural accommodation with the enjoyment of common facilities and equipment. 

To guarantee good coexistence, we will appreciate you respecting the rules and schedules. We also ask that you  be careful and leave the facilities clean and tidy. Respect and treat animals and plants with care.  

 

 

Pets:They have an additional cost. They must be tied. They cannot be left alone inside the accommodations. You must fill out and deliver a document that will be provided at check-in. They are not allowed in igloos, treehouses, rural rooms, spa and pool. (For more information see PETS section)  

 

Vehicles:They must park according to the assigned space and respecting the green areas. Two vehicles per house. You cannot drive after 11pm. 

Respect silence throughout the complex after 24h. 

Please make responsible use of water and electricity resources. 

Visits without accommodation must contact reception. 

WI-FI area in reception, restaurant and common room "La Neu" 

No smoking inside. 

In the event that the reservation is with VOUCHER, you must bring the original upon arrival.  

The wooden houses do not include towels. The loan of the same is offered for € 7 the game.  

Jacuzzi room are not tree houses or igloos. 

In igloos, tree houses and rural rooms towels are included. 

 

 

 

 

 

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

By making a reservation through this WEBSITE, you and your companions expressly and unreservedly accept these contracting conditions. 

About the figures involved: 

 

  • You (hereinafter TRAVELER) are contracting a product directly with the chosen accommodation (hereinafter ACCOMMODATION), and therefore the responsibility for the quality and conditions of said product is exclusively of the ACCOMMODATION (for example the cleanliness or suitability of the ACCOMMODATION).  

  • This WEBSITE uses the HOTELGEST Booking Engine as a technological and payment management platform for processing the reservation. By booking through this channel, the TRAVELER is using the HOTELGEST service to transmit the reservation to the ACCOMMODATION and to make the payment of all or part of the amount thereof (according to the payment policy defined by the ACCOMMODATION in HOTELGEST)._cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

  • Identification of HOTELGEST: Hotelgest On-line SL, a Spanish company legally constituted with CIF ES-99279622, is the owner of an independent online reservation computer system that both the ACCOMMODATION and the WEBSITE have chosen to manage the reservations._cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

  • The HOTEL GEST system guarantees independent and secure management of reservations, offering a standard framework that establishes the commitments of both the ACCOMMODATION and the TRAVELER, with the aim that this framework serves to guarantee reservations for both parties. In case of non-compliance with any of these conditions HOTEGEST will not be responsible in any case, but directly the ACCOMMODATION and/or the TRAVELER. In which case HOTELGEST will try to facilitate a solution by any means within its possibilities. 

 

The contractual relationship, derived from your reservation, is formalized directly between the TRAVELER and the ACCOMMODATION. And the ACCOMMODATION is solely responsible for the contracted tourist products and/or services.

RESPONSIBILITY IN THE INFORMATION

The data that appears about the ACCOMMODATION in this process has been entered directly by the owner of the ACCOMMODATION, so HOTEL GEST is not responsible for any error or omission that could affect both the successful completion of the reservation and the TRAVELER's stay._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

 

 

 

 

RESERVATION PROCESS

The reservation process requests all the necessary information so that it can formalize the contract, including the dates of entry and exit, and the data of the TRAVELER as the owner who formalizes the reservation. And the TRAVELER is responsible for entering the data correctly, and for checking the information on dates and information on the ACCOMMODATION. 

 

To confirm the reservation, an advance must be paid, which corresponds to a part of the total amount of the reservation and which is determined by the ACCOMMODATION, plus any Management Expenses for managing the reservation. These amounts appear broken down in the reservation process. 

 
The reservation process itself can offer different forms of payment to the TRAVELER to make the payment of said advance. And the forms of payment that appear are chosen by the ACCOMMODATION, and are payment gateways provided by HOTELGEST within the reservation system, as one more technical resource for the ACCOMMODATION. And in which case the payment is validated by the HOTELGEST system automatically. Thus providing a validation of an independent system to the ACCOMMODATION that confirms that payment. 

Depending on the payment method chosen, the TRAVELER has a limited period of time (a period that is informed to the TRAVELER) in which the payment must be made, and it must be able to be validated by HOTELGEST (automatically and instantly if it is an online payment method -card-, or deferred if it is a non-online payment method -bank transfer-). If said payment is not validated within the term, the reservation will be automatically cancelled, and the TRAVELER will be notified by email. And in this case, any amount already paid (assuming a payment made but that could not be validated within the term) will be returned to the TRAVELER but he will not obtain the reservation confirmation. 
Once the advance payment has been confirmed, THE TRAVELER will receive by e-mail and the reservation voucher will be displayed on the screen, where the contact details of the ACCOMMODATION and all the necessary information will be indicated. 

The TRAVELER must print and keep this voucher to present it at the reception office of the ACCOMMODATION, as well as present any other documentation indicated during the reservation process or in the e-mails received._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_

The rest of the amount of the reservation (in the event that the ACCOMMODATION has configured an advance payment less than the entire reservation) will be managed according to the PAYMENT POLICY that the ACCOMMODATION has defined. This remaining amount may vary from that specified in the reservation voucher if certain services not expressly included in the reservation are used (such as fixed cleaning costs or possible extras). 

 

 

 

 PAYMENT POLICY

The rest of the amount will be paid directly at the ACCOMMODATION in the manner and at the time indicated by it, and independently of the reservation process.

The price includes:

The price is per stay and accommodation and includes all applicable taxes. The conditions regarding the normal consumption of water, gas and electricity, bedding, kitchen utensils, crockery and kitchenware necessary to inhabit the ACCOMMODATION, is as defined by the ACCOMMODATION itself, and is independent in any case from HOTELGEST._cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

All this unless otherwise specified in the PARTICULAR ACCOMMODATION CONDITIONS. 

 

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

​ The extras not selected in the reservation process or additional services not expressly indicated in the reservation voucher or in the ACCOMMODATION file, which must be contracted and paid as stipulated in the PAYMENT POLICY, or failing that, upon arrival at the accommodation independently, or as stipulated directly by the ACCOMMODATION. 

The tourist taxes that were applicable in each case. 

Any deposit stipulated by the ACCOMMODATION.

MAXIMUM CAPACITY AND HOUSING CONDITIONS 

​ 

The number of people occupying the ACCOMMODATION cannot exceed the capacity indicated therein, except in the case of babies (babies are understood to be those under 3 years of age unless the particular policy of the accommodation defines something different). And if the maximum capacity is not indicated, it will be understood as the result of 2 people per double or matrimonial bed, and 1 per single or extra bed. 

The ACCOMMODATION can refuse to admit the entry of people above the contracted capacity, not having any claim for this reason. 

 

Animals are only allowed if expressly stated in the reservation conditions of the ACCOMMODATION or by agreement with the owner of the ACCOMMODATION. If this rule is violated, the ACCOMMODATION may demand an eviction without compensation for You. 

The TRAVELER undertakes to keep the ACCOMMODATION clean, tidy and in the state in which it was delivered. You also agree to follow the instructions for use and maintenance indicated by the owner of the ACCOMMODATION and to respect the regulations regarding noise, garbage collection, water consumption, etc... of the community, environment, or building where you are. . 

Failure to comply with these rules empowers the ACCOMMODATION to demand eviction without compensation and the collection of compensation for the damage caused, which may be deducted from the deposit (if the ACCOMMODATION had it defined). 

 

 

 

COLLECTION OF KEYS AND DEPARTURES

The keys will be collected at the address and date indicated on the reservation voucher. 

In case of arrival outside these hours (between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.), you must contact  previously with the ACCOMMODATION to coordinate the delivery of the keys, being mandatory to notify in advance of the approximate arrival time. In case of not doing so, or that the arrival does not take place within the scheduled hours, it is up to the ACCOMMODATION to dispose of the reserved accommodation, with cancellation of the reservation and without compensation for the TRAVELER._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_

 VALIDATIONS AND GUARANTEES OF ACCOMMODATION IN HOTEL GEST 

​ 

As an impartial technical tool for the reservation process, HOTEL GEST allows the ACCOMMODATION to carry out validations that provide security and guarantees to the TRAVELER. The validations and guarantees provided by this ACCOMMODATION are: 

  • Signed contract: the express conditions related to the contract of use of HOTELGEST  (maintenance of the availability calendar always updated in order to avoid overbooking) have been accepted as follows:_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

  • Tacit acceptance by registering at HOTELGEST  

  • ACCOMMODATION validation: validation of the physical existence of the accommodation at the address indicated on your file: c/Riu Brugent n.16, 43364 (Prades), Tarragona. 

  • Total anti-fraud guarantee: the accommodation can voluntarily provide the anti-fraud guarantee consisting of HOTELGEST withholding the money from the advance payment and sending it to you 2 days after the date of entry. This guarantee is only applicable for reservations paid by means of payment "through hotelgest 

  • Cancellation policy: the ACCOMMODATION is committed to a certain cancellation policy and its management as defined in the CANCELLATION POLICY clause.

CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOMMODATION 

​ 

The permanently updated maintenance of the HOTELGEST availability calendar avoids the possibility of overbooking in the ACCOMMODATIONS that work with this system, but if there is, the OWNER will give priority to the reservation made through HOTELGEST or, failing that, will provide the TRAVELER an accommodation of equal or superior quality for the same or lower cost for the desired dates, taking charge of the management and any additional cost that may be incurred. 

If the aforementioned option is not possible, or the TRAVELER does not accept the change, the reservation will be canceled and all the amounts paid as an advance payment of the total reservation will be refunded. Said reimbursement will be the direct responsibility of the OWNER, and in the event that the amount of the advance is withheld by HOTELGEST and at the request of both PARTIES it is HOTELGEST that makes the return directly to the TRAVELER, the commissions charged by HOTELGEST will always be deducted. Any other agreement between the PARTIES replaces the previous conditions. 

 

 

 

  

PARTICULAR CONDITIONS OF ACCOMMODATION

This accommodation has defined Specific Booking Conditions, which the TRAVELER has read and accepts by making a reservation, and which will be applicable to the extent that they do not contravene the general booking conditions expressed in this same document, which will prevail in case of conflict: 

-Entries must be before 8 pm. 
-In exceptional cases, notify reception by phone. 
-In reservations of more than one day, in case of no-show and/or notification before 8:00 p.m. on the first day, the accommodation will be free and available for other clients. 

 

CARD PAYMENT MANAGEMENT AND CARD DATA PROCESSING

  • This WEBSITE uses the HOTELGEST Booking Engine as a technological and payment management platform for processing the reservation. 

  • When making the advance payment by credit/debit card, the TRAVELER is using the HOTELGEST service to transmit the reservation to the ACCOMMODATION and to make the payment of all or part of the amount thereof (according to the PAYMENT POLICY defined by the ACCOMMODATION at HOTELGEST). 

  • In addition, the card data provided by the TRAVELER will be stored securely through a BankStore service, to allow the ACCOMMODATION to display subsequent charges to said card, as defined in its PAYMENT POLICY. 

  • The stored card data is not visible to the ACCOMMODATION, in compliance with PCI regulations, and can only be used to speed up collections, pre-authorizations and checks that are necessary to guarantee the collection of the services contracted by the TRAVELER._cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

  • The HOTELGEST Booking Engine includes a Fraud Control system to avoid fraudulent payment operations. HOTELGEST reserves the right to stop, cancel or reverse any card payment operation (and by extension cancel the reservation in question) that may be suspicious in said control system. 

  • The TRAVELER undertakes to provide truthful documentation about himself and about the card used, at any time that the ACCOMMODATION or HOTELGEST requests it. And it is an essential condition to be able to enjoy the reservation made to present said documentation in original format at the time of entry into the ACCOMMODATION.

CUSTOMER WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMER 

​ 

  • The CLIENT (ACCOMMODATION MANAGER) guarantees that it has the power of free disposal and the legal and fiscal capacity necessary to manage its accommodation, and that it complies with all regulations, laws and obligations that are applicable to it (tax, tax, licenses, etc.) . Exonerating HOTELGEST. 

  • The CLIENT (ACCOMMODATION MANAGER) and the TRAVELER assume the responsibility of providing true, exact and permanently updated identification, both regarding their identity and the ACCOMMODATIONS. Guaranteeing the CUSTOMER (ACCOMMODATION MANAGER) at all times that the ACCOMMODATIONS exist and have the necessary powers and capacities for their management and offer of the rental service. 

  • HOTELGEST limits its responsibilities to the provision of technological and payment management services, and does not act as an intermediary, agency, sales channel or similar. The commercial relations for the reservations and their associated responsibilities (invoicing, taxes, ...) are always between the ACCOMMODATION and the TRAVELER, and between the ACCOMMODATION and the WEBSITE where it is advertised. Being HOTELGEST a mere technological tool that the ACCOMMODATION freely contracts to carry out its management. 

  • HOTELGEST is not responsible for any case of overbooking (reservations for the same dates for the same ACCOMMODATION) due to eventual technical problems or lack of updating by the CLIENT (ACCOMMODATION MANAGER), or for lack of updating or problems in any of the connected channels.

DATA PROTECTION 

​ 

The personal data provided by the TRAVELER when making the reservation are processed by HOTELGEST, as it is the technical tool through which the reservation is managed, with HOTELGEST acting merely as Processor for the ACCOMMODATION._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_

These data are made available to the ACCOMMODATION so that it can perform the requested service. And the ACCOMMODATION itself undertakes to make correct use of the data in accordance with current legislation.

APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION 

​ 

In everything that is not provided for in these conditions, the legislation that corresponds to the ACCOMMODATION in question will apply, in any case. 

The parties, expressly waiving the jurisdiction that may correspond to them by law, submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts and Tribunals of the city that corresponds to the ACCOMMODATION in question for the resolution of any problem arising from the application and interpretation of this contract. . 

 

CATALONIA TOURISM REGISTRY


According to article 73.5 of Law 13/2002 of June 21 on Tourism of the Generalitat,  we state that El Xalet de Prades has  the number _cc781905- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_HT000848 as registration of tourist accommodation in the Registry of Tourism of Catalonia.
