HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT IN THE IGLOOS AND THE TREE HOUSES?

Tree House: Can accommodate a maximum of 2 people

Igloo de las Estrellas: A maximum of 2 adults + 1 child can be accommodated (double bed + extra bed in the same room).

Premium Tree House: A maximum of 2 adults + 2 children can be accommodated (raised King Size bed on the second floor + Sofa bed for 2 people on the ground floor).

Premium Igloo: A maximum of 2 adults + 2 children can be accommodated (elevated King Size bed + Sofa bed for 2 people in the same room).

Family Tree House: A maximum of 2 adults + 3 children can be accommodated (double bed on the ground floor + 3 single beds in the loft where the children sleep in sleeping bags).

Family Igloo: Up to 2 adults + 3 children can be accommodated (sofa bed for 2 people and an extra bed for a child under 12 years old on the ground floor + double bed on the 2nd floor).

 

DO THE ACCOMMODATIONS HAVE A MINIMUM STAY?

Only the wooden houses, the big house and the Xalet (all that are houses as such and not rooms or apartments).

In low season they have a minimum stay of two nights. With the exception of bridges, holidays and high season where the minimum stay varies according to the season and dates.

In these lodgings, you cannot normally reserve a night unless it is an offer or something exceptional. You can ensure the minimum stay according to the dates through the website.

Tree houses, Igloo of the stars and rural rooms have no minimum stay.

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE A RESERVATION AND I ARRIVE LATER THAN 8 PM? Contact reception and check the schedule. Sunday and weekday reception is closed at 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 9:00 p.m. You must inform and reception will inform you if it is possible to check-in later than reception remains closed.

 

IS THE ANIMALS ACTIVITY AND PONNY RIDE FREE? DO YOU HAVE TO RESERVE? 

It is free, you do not reserve, you go directly to the area where the animals are at the scheduled time. The ideal is that you ask at reception upon arrival so that they can give you all the necessary and updated information.

The schedule of the pony rides changes according to the time of year, but as a reference, we usually do it on Saturdays at 11am and 11.30am). If there are holidays, bridges, etc., it is usually also organized on one of those days, ask at reception. During the week, the pony ride is at 4:30 p.m. at the moment but it will vary depending on the time of year.

 

HOW DOES THE SPA/WELLNES WORK? DO YOU HAVE TO RESERVE?:

We advise you to pre-contract the Spa service at the time of making your reservation to guarantee its availability. To reserve a specific time, it will be done directly with the reception staff at the time of your arrival.

The cost is €12/hour per person and entry is only allowed for people over 12 years of age.

Once the time has come, they must come 5 minutes before their time and the reception staff will accompany them to the Spa and explain its operation, there are changing rooms there to change. You need a towel, swimsuit and flip flops, a bathing cap will not be necessary.

 

I WANT TO MAKE A GIFT, HOW DO I DO IT?

On our website we have the "GIFTS" section, there you choose the product you want to give, add it to the shopping cart, pay for it with your credit card, download a VOUCHER that is delivered to the person you want to give, the person calls us to make the reservation, we will ask for the order number, they have UP TO 2 years to make the reservation from the moment of purchase.

It can be extended for another 3 months in exceptional cases, after that time, you can use it without a deadline by paying only €50.

 

I WANT TO BOOK IN YOUR RESTAURANT, HOW TO PROCEED?

We recommend adding dinner at the Restaurant as an extra at the time of making your reservation, in this way you will ensure its availability. It is a small restaurant so it is better to have a reservation made in advance. In any case, you can also check the availability at reception at the time of your arrival.

 

On the website there is a section dedicated to the restaurant where you can see our cooking style and you can even download our menu. Regarding dinner, there is also a menu that costs €25 per person and children under 8 years €12.50.

 

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO IF I MAKE A RESERVATION BY PHONE FOR MORE THAN 7 DAYS?

You will receive an email with all the accommodation details and the chosen dates. 
Once you have reviewed the email and to finish confirming the reservation you have to pay an advance, in the case of wooden houses 40% and in the rest of accommodation the full amount. 
In your case you have to make a transfer for an amount of , 
to c/c ES95 2100 0962 1302 0007 3449 of La Caixa, in the name of “Xalet de Prades SL” 
 
IMPORTANT concept: you have to put the surnames of the person who makes the reservation and the day of arrival. 

 

Example Concept: Vilaniu Brands – 13-8-22

You have 3 days to make the payment and confirm the reservation. In case you do not do it, the computer program will cancel it automatically. 

Remember that the time of entry to the accommodation is at 3:00 p.m., but if you want to come earlier and enjoy the pool in summer, the farm, the barbecues, etc. you are welcome The departure time for the wooden houses is at 10:30 a.m., with the possibility of doing Late Check Out later depending on availability. The rest of the accommodations the departure time will be at 11am, with the possibility of Late Check Out until 1pm with a supplement (20€).

 

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO IF I MAKE A RESERVATION BY PHONE FOR LESS THAN 7 DAYS?

Once you have made your reservation by phone, you will receive two e-mails:

-One with the confirmation of the reservation and the dates. 

-Another with a link to make the payment. 

* In the case of wooden houses, an advance payment of 40% will have to be paid. 

* In the rest of the accommodation, the full amount must be paid. 

Payment must be made by card through the link in the same e-mail. 

The time of entry to the accommodation is at 3:00 p.m., but you can enjoy our facilities from the morning (swimming pool, farm, barbecues...). 

The departure time for the wooden houses is at 10:30 a.m. (with the possibility of late Check Out later, subject to availability). 

The departure of the rest of the accommodation is at 11am, with the possibility of late Check Out until 1pm (supplement of €20). 

 

CAN'T FIND AVAILABILITY IN IGLOUS AND TREE HOUSES IN THE WEB SEARCH?

For Saturday nights the igloos and tree houses are not usually available until approximately 4 months visit. For Friday nights, up to about 3 months view.

Beware on Social Networks! Eventually we have some last minute cancellation, in these cases we announce it as *Stories on Instagram, you will have to be attentive and confirm it as soon as possible, since we do not make a waiting list.

 

DO YOU WANT TO GIVE A STAY WITH US?

We offer the option of buying a GIFT VOUCHER, valid to consume in 2 years for any of our accommodations.

To acquire one of our checks it will be necessary to follow the following steps:

2. Choose the type of gift and click on the photo. There is all the information on what the check includes.

3. Choose the season you want to give away and press "Add to cart".

4. If you want to add any extra (spa, child or adult, bottle of cava, etc.), you can add it to "Notes" or return to the "GIFTS" page and add the ones you want to the "Cart" .

5. Check that the purchase and everything included in the "Cart" is correct.

6. Click on "Finish the purchase".

7. Fill in the personal and payment details.

8. It is necessary to check that the email entered is correct, since it will be where the GIFT CHECK is received. If it is not, you must click on "Edit" and modify it.

9. Confirm the purchase by SMS or the bank's APP.

10. A confirmation notice will appear, where you can download the GIFT VOUCHER by clicking on "Download". In any case, a confirmation email will be sent where the CHECK can also be downloaded. We recommend printing it in color and on photo paper or cardstock.

When the lucky person receives it, they will be able to check on our website the availability we have for that accommodation. You will have to send an email to info@xaletdeprades.com with the order number to proceed with the reservation. 

 

-If you choose to give a specific accommodation, but the person receiving the CHECK wants another, no problem: 

 

-If the price of the accommodation desired by the person holding the CHECK is higher than the value of the CHECK, the remaining amount must be paid.

-If the price of the accommodation desired by the person holding the CHECK is less than the value of the CHECK, one of our services will be added free of charge until the value of the difference is reached.

 

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE POSITIVE FOR COVID 19 BEFORE COMING

It would be necessary for you to send us the following documentation: 

-A receipt stating that you have tested positive for COVID. The certificate must be in the name of the person who made the reservation, or justify that they live with them. 

 

-The SMS or message received from the Generalitat indicating that you have been in close contact with a positive person in COVID, in addition to a copy of the proof of the positive person. 

 

For us, the safety of those staying is very important, therefore, we ask for self-responsibility and that, if you have symptoms, you do not come to Xalet de Prades.

It is necessary that you send the receipt before 12 noon, responding to this email, so that you do not lose the part of the payment and down payment for the reservation and do not have a penalty. Otherwise, the normal cancellation policy published on the website will apply and the exception for COVID will not be taken into account. 

There is also the possibility of making a name change in the reservation and that a relative or friend can use it. On the other hand, we can also publish the date on our social networks and have someone reserve it, in this way we would save your data and repository for a future reservation. 

If you finally confirm that you are not coming, we will leave the accommodation free.

We accept pets in our enclosure. 

Regarding accommodation: 

 

WE ACCEPT ANIMALS 

-Wooden houses: equipped with their own kitchen. The Niu house has a private jacuzzi. 

-El Xalet 

-The Great House 

 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS 

-Igloos (normal and Premium) 

-Treehouses (normal and Premium) 

-Rural rooms with Jacuzzi 

 

Main rules:

It is not allowed to leave them alone in the accommodation. 

-Hygiene must be taken care of. 

-Supplement of €14 per pet per night. 

-Maximum 1 pet per accommodation.

-Inside the enclosure, they must be tied.

 

THERE IS WIFI ?

It has free 4G WIFI both in the reception and restaurant as well as in the common room "La Neu". The rest of the areas are considered for disconnection and relaxation and, therefore, we have preferred that there were no WIFI waves.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE DAY OF THE RESERVATION WE CANNOT COME DUE TO SOME UNFORESEEN? 

Up to 10 days before your arrival you can make changes to the date as long as you have a justification. 

If it is due to hospital admission, positive for COVID or due to the death of a direct family member, we keep your reservation pending a new date. 

If there is no proof, we will try to rent your accommodation again. In case of renting it, we will keep your reservation. If it is not rented, you should transfer the name of the reservation to a friend or family member so as not to lose it. 

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE NEW PREMIUM IGLOOs?

In our new Premium Igloos you will also enjoy the stars thanks to its glass dome, through which you will be able to observe the privileged night sky that we have in Prades. 

It is a spacious suite with two separate rooms. One is occupied by the bedroom with a raised King-Size bed, and the other by the full bathroom with a slate shower.  

Also, in the back, there is a private terrace with an outdoor hot tub, to bathe while looking at the stars. And in the front, a small table to sit down and have lunch or sunbathe. 

Currently we still have availability during the week, both in the igloos and in the new Premium cabins, and if you search well in the web search engine, you may still find a weekend for this summer.

 

DO YOU WANT TO SPEND A WEEKEND WITH YOUR FAMILY IN THE CASITAS DE MADERA?

Perfect, the first thing you should do is check the website for availability to spend a weekend in our wooden houses on the dates you want. These have a capacity of 4 to 10 people each and the stay must be a minimum of 2 nights.  

They have two floors fully equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home (full bathroom, kitchen, living room...). 

Once you have chosen the date and size of house that best suits you, you no longer need to worry, at Xalet de Prades we have activities for children; they will be able to take pony rides and visit the animals that we have on our farm. In addition, every Saturday we have a storytelling session with chocolate for them. 

If you prefer to disconnect and relax, we have a Spa service, massages and yoga. You can hire all these services and ask for more information once you do the Check-In at reception.

HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN AN OBJECT IN XALET DE PRADES?

Call us as soon as possible to inform us of the loss so that we can check the area where you left it as soon as possible. Anyway, don't worry, if you left the object in your accommodation, our cleaning staff will find it when they clean the room and we will keep it in a safe place until you contact us.

You have two options, if you are not far away you can come and pick it up personally but if you prefer we can send it to you by mail.

We inform you that in Prades we do not have a courier company, and Correos does not collect packages here. 

You must contact a courier company to manage the shipment. We recommend you consult the "PACKLINK" website, where depending on the size and weight of the package and the location where you receive the package, you can find the best prices among different companies. Don't worry, we'll pack the item properly and deliver it to the delivery person.
